My name is Adam Abdullah, I am 16 years old and I’m currently the Young Mayor of Lewisham. I am very passionate about trying to change the world for the better, inspired by movements of the past. I got interested in politics after many experiences of door knocking from candidates, the News and the 2016 US General Election. Right now, I’m working to tackle inequalities and knife crime in Lewisham. The advice I would give is not to procrastinate and to do it all now, as if you leave it for later you won’t do it.
