My name is Jonah. I discovered my passion for acting two years ago when I was only 6 years old. My first taste for acting was a small role in a short film which screened at Cannes Film Festival in 2017. It was enough to get me hooked. Since then, I have had many roles in various films, TV commercials, online promos, music videos and voice overs.
In May 2018, I received the news about being nominated for my role in the film, ‘Last Day of Summer’, in the category of, ‘Best Performance in a Short Film’ by Hollywood’s longest running awards for young talent, ‘The Young Artist Academy’. I was beyond thrilled.
In the past, the award was given to young Leonardo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman, Drew Barrymore, Winona Ryder and many more. I attended the glitzy event on July the 14th 2018, supported by my mum, brother, the Director Aleksandra Czenczek, and two producers, Caroline Tod-Richardson and Adriana Kulig who travelled all the way from Britain. To my amazement, I won the award.
I am eagerly awaiting the release of, ‘Robin Hood, The Rebellion’ later this year, in which I played the role of James.
My mum says my most happy place is most certainly on a film set in front of the camera. When I am not at school or on a film set, I enjoy fencing, sailing, tennis, anything to do with ‘The Avengers’ and Lego...lots of Lego.
In the future my dream is to be a professional actor and a rock star.
